Legend & Help
This page explains the color scheme, proficiency/expertise rules, and other visual cues used throughout the Gemini 5E manager.
Colors
- Amber β used for proficiency and primary interactive elements.
- Emerald β denotes expertise (double proficiency).
- Red β hit points, damage, and warnings.
- Gray β secondary text or disabled/inactive states.
Proficiency & Expertise
On the dashboard each skill has two checkboxes: the first marks proficiency, which adds your proficiency bonus to the skill roll. The second checkbox (smaller, emerald) marks expertise; if enabled the skill gains double proficiency (proficiency bonus added twice). The numerical bonus displayed updates automatically:
Total = ability modifier + proficiency + expertise
Damage & Healing
Use the damage/heal controls on the dashboard to log HP changes. The left field is the amount, the right field is an optional description. Logged entries appear below with a timestamp.
Session Notes
Notes added on the Journal page are stored per character and shown chronologically in the "Session Notes" section. They're useful for keeping track of what happened during play.
Other Features
- Characters β list, create and delete characters.
- Manage β raw JSON editor for all table data.
- Help β this page youβre reading now.
